MoU signed between India and Sweden in Rail Sector A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)  has been signed on15.02.2016 between Ministry of  Railways and the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation of the Kingdom of Sweden on Technical Cooperation in Rail Sector. MoU was signed by Mr. Girish Pillai, Adviser / Infrastructure on behalf of  Ministry of Railways and Mr. Oscar Stenstrom, State Secretary on behalf of Swedish government. Following cooperation areas are identified in the MoU: 1. Benchmark Railways policy development, regulations, organization and specific characteristics for each country. 2. Exchange of knowledge, technical expertise, innovation, technology, sustainable solutions and research. 3.
